On September 28th, Liu Weimin, General Manager of Jiangsu Three&Three, participated in the inspection tour of Jiangsu Ningxia Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park as a representative of leading entrepreneurs in smart agriculture in Jiangsu Province.

In the morning, we inspected the ecological leisure and sightseeing park of Guangyin Rice Industry Rice Fishing Space, the construction of Kehai Fishery Base, facility breeding, the application of Internet of Things technology, the construction of Ningxia Tongwei Modern Agriculture Co., Ltd. Photovoltaic Town in Xinmin Village, Changxin Township, and the modernization of animal husbandry in Jinsha Village.

The county has built a comprehensive rice fishing planting and breeding demonstration base covering 4000 acres, with a total grain sowing area of 445000 acres, including 113000 acres of wheat, 145000 acres of corn, and 187000 acres of rice. The total area of vegetable cultivation is 300000 acres.

In the afternoon, we went to Desheng Industrial Park to inspect the e-commerce industry park in Helan County, the processing of Maiqingxiang food, and the processing of Ningxia Houshengji leisure food. We also visited the China Goji Hall.

On September 29th, we inspected the vegetable planting situation in the demonstration park of new vegetable varieties in Juli and the Guangjie Fruit and Vegetable Professional Cooperative. Participated in the symposium on the construction of Jiangsu Ningxia Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park and the signing ceremony of the Science and Technology Cooperative. Ji Zhaoxun, Deputy Director of the Science and Education Department of Jiangsu Provincial Agricultural Commission, Lai Weili, Deputy Director of the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department of the Autonomous Region, and Zhao Bo, County Mayor, attended the meeting.

Deputy Director Lai Weili pointed out that in recent years, Ningxia has conscientiously implemented the central government's decision-making and deployment on "agriculture, rural areas, and farmers" work. In accordance with the overall requirements of the Ministry of Agriculture to "stabilize grain, increase income, adjust structure, improve quality and efficiency, and transform methods", it has closely focused on the core of increasing farmers' income, based on Ningxia's resource endowment, highlighted the development of high-quality grain, grass and livestock, melon and vegetable, wolfberry, and grape "1+4" characteristic advantageous industries, and taken the path of modern agricultural development with characteristic industries, high quality, high-end markets, and high efficiency. The development of agriculture and rural economy has achieved significant results.

County Mayor Zhao Bo stated that Helan County is closely focused on promoting the structural reform of the agricultural supply side, with strong industries, increased income, and ecological protection as the core. The main direction is to promote planting and breeding, switch from breeding to planting, combine planting and breeding, recycle resources, and promote green development of the entire industry chain. Through planning guidance, policy support, funding guidance, and subject entrepreneurship and innovation, it promotes factor aggregation, structural adjustment, and deep integration of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, promotes the coordinated development of grass, livestock, japonica rice, and vegetables, and strives to expand and strengthen advantageous characteristic industrial clusters, enhance agricultural quality and efficiency, industrial competitiveness, and ecological barrier support.

Finally, agricultural experts and business representatives from Jiangsu Province had a discussion and exchange. Helan County has convenient location and transportation advantages, as well as a good industrial foundation. The implementation of the national western development and the Silk Road Economic Belt strategy has brought unprecedented historical development opportunities to Ningxia.
