On September 16th, a green prevention and control demonstration zone for crop diseases and pests in the province held an observation and exchange meeting in Jiangning, Nanjing. More than 100 people, including Gu Zhengliang, Director of the Nanjing Agriculture and Rural Bureau, Tian Weibin, Director of the Ganyu District Agriculture and Rural Bureau in Lianyungang, and 13 other responsible persons of the city's agriculture and rural bureaus, as well as plant protection and inspection station managers, participated in the observation and exchange activities.

After the exchange meeting, the observation team visited Nanjing Taihe Rice Planting Professional Cooperative in Tangshan Street, Jiangning District. Representatives from Jiangning Plant Protection and Inspection Station introduced the Chunhua Modern Agriculture Demonstration Park to the visitors, which comprehensively uses green ecological prevention and control technologies such as insecticidal lamps, sex attractants, artificial release of red eye wasps, and root grass lure to control the occurrence of rice field diseases and pests, ensuring the safe and sustainable development of the ecological environment of the rice production base. At the same time, they planted gerbera chrysanthemums, created garden rice fields, and further developed new concepts of green prevention and control.

The intelligent monitoring system for crop pests and diseases, independently developed by Jiangsu Three&Three Information Technology Co., Ltd., was completed in Jiangning District, Nanjing in November 2019. This is the first step taken by Jiangning Plant Protection towards remote intelligent monitoring of pests and diseases. The monitoring system includes equipment for automatic collection and transmission of pest information, automatic traps for insect attraction, farmland microclimate monitoring system, remote real-time monitoring system for farmland habitat, and on-site LED display system. It can remotely monitor crop growth, air temperature and humidity, rainfall, and pest and disease occurrence, and push information in real time through PC cloud and mobile APP. The analysis and prediction results of parameters such as pest and disease status, crop growth status, and disaster situation will be displayed on outdoor LED screens through graphical means. Through visual management, agricultural production and operations will be guided, providing scientific basis for decision-making and command of pest and disease prevention and control work.

The on-site observation team affirmed the good operation and responsible service attitude of the four situation monitoring system independently developed by Jiangsu Three&Three. Jiangsu Three&Three will continue to work hard in the field of digital agriculture, rural areas and farmers, expand and strengthen, and use technology to support the sustainable and healthy development of Chinese agriculture!
