From February 12th to 14th, Cao Weixing, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic League and Dean of the Smart Agriculture Research Institute at Nanjing Agricultural University, Tang Mingzhen, First level Inspector of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Du Yonglin, Director of the Planting Management Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Zhu Yan, Dean of the College of Agriculture at Nanjing Agricultural University, Liu Xiaojun, Professor of the Smart Agriculture Research Institute at Nanjing Agricultural University, Zhang Xiaohu, Vice Dean of the Nanjing Shennong Smart Agriculture Research Institute, and Liu Weimin, General Manager of Jiangsu Three&Three, went to Xuzhou City, Lianyungang City, and Huai'an City to conduct research on wheat production and smart agriculture in various parts of northern Jiangsu.
Over the course of three days, the research team visited Jiawang District and Tongshan District in Xuzhou City, Donghai County in Lianyungang City, Jinhu County in Huai'an City, and other places through listening to introductions, on-site inspections, and communication with business leaders. They conducted frontline research with relevant leaders from various regions to gain a detailed understanding of the local wheat seedling situation and spring plowing and management situation, the current status and technical requirements of smart agriculture applications, the effectiveness and experience of smart farm construction, and fully affirmed the three cities' efforts to promote the new construction of digital villages and form their own characteristic models.
