Technology empowers agriculture, enabling humans to eat better

On September 12th, the launch meeting of the Jiangsu Province Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Science and Technology Innovation Special Fund Project (Major Key Technology Research in Agriculture and Rural Areas) "Research on Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction and Low Carbon Aquaculture Key Technologies for Typical Freshwater Fish Farming Models in Jiangsu Province" was successfully held in Nanjing. Ge Xianping, Secretary of the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, Chen Huangen, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Fisheries Technology Promotion Center, and Mao Shengyong, Dean of the School of Animal Science and Technology at Nanjing Agricultural University, were invited as consulting experts to attend the meeting. Jiangsu Three&Three, as the project undertaking unit, participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, the project leader reported on the overall design, implementation plan, tasks, and budget of the project, and each task responsible unit reported the detailed implementation plan of the assigned tasks in turn. Through this meeting, the implementation plan of the project has become more clear, and the project team members have a clearer understanding of the project's implementation ideas and schedule. This meeting has laid a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the project.

Jiangsu Three&Three will take this as an opportunity to explore the development path of carbon peak and carbon neutrality in the agricultural sector, and build the best model of low-carbon emission reduction intelligent management technology and integration suitable for typical freshwater fish farming in Jiangsu region, providing technical support for the resource utilization and ecological environment protection of freshwater fish farming.
