The crayfish industry is the largest industry in Xuyi County. In order to further promote the high-quality development of the county's agricultural industry and establish the national reputation of Xuyi crayfish, Xuyi County has taken the lead in innovating the shrimp rice co cultivation model in Jiangsu Province. At the same time, it has partnered with Jiangsu Three&Three to jointly create the Xuyi National Modern Agricultural Industrial Park Smart Management Platform project.

Jiangsu Three&Three focuses on the leading industry of shrimp rice symbiosis in the industrial park, with advanced technologies such as big data, Internet of Things, and blockchain as the core. They have built a smart park management platform for the Xuyi National Modern Agriculture Industrial Park, and established a digital management system for the entire industry chain of production, processing, warehousing, and sales. Gradually, they have formed a replicable and promotable model for increasing income from rice and shrimp farming, radiating and driving the shrimp rice symbiosis area in the county to 665000 mu, and the Xuyi lobster brand value to 21.551 billion yuan.

1. Big data driven, empowering the transformation and upgrading of the crayfish industry

Collect agricultural natural resources and environmental data, agricultural production data, and agricultural management data from various sources in Xuyi, and establish a big data command center for Xuyi National Modern Agricultural Industrial Park. This will enable one room control of agricultural information in the park, AI intelligent prediction of trends through data analysis, and the construction of a command platform for the park, which will provide evidence-based decision-making and future oriented management.

2. Smart IoT to solidify the production foundation of crayfish industry

Based on the characteristics of the shrimp rice symbiotic ecological planting and breeding model, an intelligent IoT production management platform will be built through digital empowerment to improve the quality of crayfish and rice, enhance the value of crayfish and rice, and enable agricultural entities to no longer only earn "hard-earned money". By monitoring outdoor weather, soil moisture, insect infestations, and water quality, the optimal environment for the growth of rice and shrimp in Xuyi has been ensured, and the stability of the entire cycle of rice and shrimp co cultivation industry chain has been ensured from multiple dimensions, achieving ecological cultivation and green prevention of rice and shrimp.

3. Strengthen the industry and provide comprehensive services for the development of the crayfish industry

We have created a new application called "Xuyi Industrial Park Smart Agriculture Platform" to address the concerns of farmers. With service as the entry point, we deeply explore the driving ability of digital characters in shrimp and rice ecological breeding production, including agricultural product traceability, e-commerce platforms, social services, and other fields. This further ensures the quality, safety, and value of crayfish, injecting momentum into stimulating rural industrial vitality.
