Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced the list of excellent projects for promoting new technologies, products, and models in digital agriculture and rural areas in 2023. Two projects, "Suqian Indica Rice Smart Management Center" and "Nanjing Rice Wheat Rotation" Unmanned Farm Demonstration Project, "supported by Jiangsu Three&Three, were successfully selected and included in the list of recommended excellent projects. Jiangsu Three&Three's digital agriculture construction capabilities were once again recognized.

The selection of excellent projects for new technologies, products, and models in digital agriculture and rural areas in 2023 is an important measure taken by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, accelerate the construction of smart agriculture and digital rural areas, strengthen the summary of typical experiences and the promotion of excellent cases, and better leverage modern information technology to empower high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas and assist in the construction of a strong agricultural country.

Suqian Indica Rice Smart Management Center - Digital Empowerment for the Integrated Development of the Entire Indica Rice Industry Chain

Based on the unique regional location and water resources of Suqian, the Provincial Modern Agriculture Industrial Park Management Committee of Suyu District, in conjunction with Jiangsu Sansheng, has established the Suqian Indica Rice Smart Management Center, which comprehensively applies key technological elements such as big data, remote sensing monitoring, 5G, and the Internet of Things to digitize the production of indica rice in all aspects and processes, providing sufficient support for park decision-making.

Fully leverage the advantages of bidirectional collaboration between software and hardware, establish an information-based production management system for indica rice, help the industrial development of the park achieve production informatization, equipment intelligence, technological modernization, and management process, enhance the intelligent and refined production management level of "Suqian indica rice", and promote the integrated development of the entire indica rice industry chain.

Nanjing Rice Wheat Rotation "Unmanned" Farm Demonstration Project - Creating a Model Base for Unmanned Rice Wheat Production

As the main production area of rice wheat rotation in China, Jiangsu Province is at the forefront of the development of smart agriculture and intelligent agricultural machinery. The Nanjing Agricultural Equipment Promotion Center, in collaboration with multiple units, launched an integrated demonstration project of rice wheat rotation "unmanned farm" in Liuhe, Nanjing.

Jiangsu Three&Three, as a joint unit of the project, fully utilizes the advantages of highly organized and large-scale production of rice and wheat in the local area to establish a complete unmanned farm precision planting management system, build a sky ground integrated precision agricultural monitoring system, rice and wheat precision production management system, intelligent irrigation area automatic measurement and control system, etc., integrate unmanned operation technologies such as the Internet of Things and intelligent agricultural machinery equipment into the entire process of "cultivation, planting, management, and harvesting", realize remote management of the entire cycle of rice and wheat production, and create a model base and innovative mode of intelligent unmanned rice and wheat production.

The two major projects have been selected as excellent projects for promoting new technologies, products, and models in national level digital agriculture and rural areas, demonstrating the strength and competitiveness of Jiangsu Three&Three in the field of digital agriculture construction. In the future, Jiangsu Three&Three will deepen agricultural technology innovation, leverage the outstanding advantages of digital technology, replicate, promote, and apply rich digital agriculture practice experience to the whole country, and contribute 33 efforts to improving the digitalization level of Chinese agriculture.
